New build family home on an exposed coastal site
This new build dwelling, due completion in June, adopts a similar footprint to the bungalow that previously sat on this exposed coastal site. The building is elevated on a plinth extending views from both floors, with floating pockets of private amenity space which extrude from the form.
The building is very robust with a dense concrete structure to provide respite from the severe weather that hits it, with a lightweight cedar clad jacket that visually disperses the overall perceived mass.
